Calculate two targets
Connect a two-asset Universe to Weight Calculator and choose the authorable Equal weight method. With the allocation budget shown as 100% in the editor, each selected asset receives a target of 50% of that budget. Internally the budget is represented as 1 and the two target weights as 0.5 each. If the editor budget is 80%, the same two assets target 40% each; the remaining 20% is outside this allocation. These are target weights, not completed trades.
The listed Market cap method is reserved and cannot be used as an authorable alternative. An empty Universe cannot yield meaningful two-asset weights. Connect the Weights output to the intended constraint and Rebalancer inputs, then inspect whether the target respects caps and whether a rebalance is needed. The Portfolio example follows those decisions.
Common problems
Confirm the universe is not empty and review the selected method. Target weights still need constraint checks before Rebalancer.
