Margin Estimate Field
Extracts one field from a pre-order margin estimate.
Extracts one field from a pre-order margin estimate.
When to use
Use it when a branch needs the estimated requirement or another scalar detail after Margin Check.
Example
Include the estimated margin requirement in an Alert on the Insufficient path.
Interpret a pre-order estimate
Feed the Margin Estimate from Margin Check into this node. Select Required Margin and Available Margin to compare amounts in the run's account currency, or select Sufficient to obtain the estimate's boolean decision. For illustration, an estimate of 300 required against 500 available is sufficient under that estimate; it does not promise Order submission, a later fill, or unchanged margin. Estimated Liquidation Price is an estimate, not a market price. Route the Margin Check control outcome separately so the graph does not continue to Order on an insufficient case.
Common problems
The estimate describes the checked request, not a guarantee of later execution. Use the control outcome as the decision authority.
